McEachern vs Milton – Game of the Week

This week High 5 Sports are celebrating the start of the ladies flag football season and on that note, for the second year in a row, a flag football game is being featured as the Game of the Week.

McEachern and Milton's flag football teams face off on the gridiron tonight at 8 p.m. in our High 5 Sports Game of the Week. Before the game, the Atlanta Falcons honored Milton High School AP Micro/Macroeconomics teacher Austin Green as their Teacher of the Week. Kelly Price also interviews the 15-time champion Milton lacrosse team.

South Paulding vs Paulding County – Game of the Week

There is still a lot of season left, but there are already big time playoff implications on the Game of the Week. Both South Paulding and Paulding County are 2-0 so far in region play and a win can keep them at the top of AAAAAA Region 5.

Jefferson vs Clarke Central – Game of the Week

David Perno led Georgia to a couple of College World Series berths but six years ago he decided to come back to his alma mater Clarke Central and coach football. Seemed strange then, but now six years later and 50 wins later, college baseball is a distant memory. Perno led his Gladiators into battle against the Jefferson Dragons, which is also the High 5 Sports Game of the Week.

Class AAAAA Region 8 is a host of powerhouse teams and two of those teams are meeting on the gridiron Friday. This is the first region game for the Jefferson Dragons (2-2) and Clarke Central Gladiators (1-3), so despite their season records, both teams are starting fresh this week in the hunt for the playoffs.
