It was a loadout day at the Midwest Food Bank warehouse in Peachtree City. Churches, other non-profits and food pantries that distribute food to the elderly or families with financial needs loaded up and took the goods back to the neighborhoods they serve.  

Scam artists rip off workers at grocery store Starbucks

Police in Peachtree City need the public’s help in identifying two women who ripped off workers at a Starbucks for more than $5,000. The women claimed to be cheerleading coaches who were buying gift cards as a fundraiser.

High winds and falling tree damage doctor’s office

High winds on Tuesday sent a tree crashing down on a doctor’s office in Peachtree City causing, of all things, serious flooding damage. That’s because a tree limb broke the building’s fire sprinkler system, sending patients and staff scrambling.

Coweta County deputies have arrested a suspected tool thief that has been targeting contractors in several south metro Atlanta communities. Justin Dewberry was arrested at an East Point fast food restaurant after deputies said they were forced to use a Taser on him.
