Marking 1 year since deadly Atlanta-area spa shootings

On March 16, 2021, a gunman killed eight people at three metro Atlanta massage businesses — one in Cherokee County and two in Atlanta. The killings increased awareness of the fear among Asian Americans already experiencing a rise in hostility.
