City, state leaders to amp up efforts to stop gangs from recruiting kids

Governor Kemp and other state and Atlanta leaders held meeting to determine ways to crack down on gangs' aggressive tactics to recruit Georgia children at an alarming rate. Kemp and other lawmakers are pushing for stricter penalties for gang members caught preying on minors.
