'Stop Cop City' petition rejected due to deadline

A new hurdle for the so-called “Stop Cop City” movement. The group says it’s collected more than 116,000 signatures for a petition to get the controversial Atlanta Public Safety Training Center project on the ballot. When they went to City Hall Monday morning, they were told the municipal clerk could not start verifying those signatures.
