GBI investigates after man shot by Chamblee officer

The driver of a stolen vehicle was rushed to an Atlanta hospital after being shot by a Chamblee police officer during an encounter at a Walgreens along Peachtree Boulevard on Thursday, according to investigators. The officer has been placed on leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
