UGA murder: Political fallout over death of Laken Riley

The murder of 22-year-old August University nursing student Laken Riley has many politicians looking to assign blame. Her accused killer, 26-year-old Jose Ibarra came to the U.S. illegally from Venezuela. Some Republicans have slammed Democratic local leaders calling Athens a so-called “sanctuary city.”
