Justice Department targets Live Nation

The Justice Department is coming after the concert and ticketing titan Live Nation, which merged with Ticketmaster. Attorney General Merrick Garland alleges the company is a monopoly that’s crushed competitors and uses its status to charge outrageous fees to consumers who have no other choice.
