Early Georgia voters close to doubling 2020 turnout

As of 4 p.m., over 250,000 early voters turned out to cast their votes in Georgia. 136,000 voted on the first day of early voting in 2020 and 134,000 voted on the same day in 2022, according to State Election Director Blake Evans.
