Shot DeKalb County officers will recover, CEO says

DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond announced that the two officers who were shot while responding to a 911 call on Waldrop Cove on Wednesday are both expected to recover. They were later identified as Sgt. Matthews and Officer Howell.
