Decatur's very own Matt Maxey, a Black deaf ASL performer, recently went viral for his dynamic performance translating Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl 2025 Halftime Show. Maxey is the founder of DEAFinitely Dope, a local "company that provides sign language interpretation for live music events for deaf and hard of hearing fans."
