CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - More than 680,000 customers statewide were without power after Florence made its assault on North Carolina, according to NC Emergency Management.
As of 7:15 a.m. Sunday, the power outage total was 681,622 with the highest concentration in New Hanover, Brunswick, Carteret, Cumberland and Onslow counties.
