STONECREST, Ga. - DeKalb County police have opened an investigation after a body was discovered in a DeKalb County creek.

What we know:

Police say the discovery was made in the 3400 block of Brook Rose Lane in Stonecrest. On Sunday, they received a call about a drowning in the woods.

The victim was a 35-year-old male.

The Homicide Unit reported to the scene. So far, detectives say there were no obvious signs of foul play.

The DeKalb County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the man's cause of death.
