Sugar Factory sweetens Atlanta food scene
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Kim Kardashian likes “Sugar.” so do Katy Perry and Jamie Foxx. And now, what’s being called “the most Instagrammed restaurant in the world” is bringing its over-the-top sweetness here to Atlanta, giving the south a taste of what celebrities just can’t get enough of.
Sugar Factory American Brasserie is set to open its 22nd location this weekend, in Midtown Atlanta – complete with a grand opening party Saturday night featuring a DJ set from Nick Cannon (of the FOX hit “The Masked Singer”).
Even if you’ve never heard of Sugar Factory, you’ve probably seen it on social media; its previous locations have become favorites of celebrities around the world, and its eye-popping array of colorful candy creations show up on Instagram feeds daily.
The new Midtown location is set in a two-story, 8,000-square-foot restaurant space, featuring indoor and outdoor dining spaces, retail store, and confectionary shop – and the restaurant’s menu includes Sugar Factory’s now-famous Rainbow Sliders, decadent milkshakes, and the Kong Kong Sundae, which serves up to a dozen people!
Sugar Factory Atlanta will be located at 1080 Peachtree Street, right across the street from the Loews Hotel.
It will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays, and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
We here at the Good Day feature team are big fans of two things – sugar and celebrities. So we couldn’t resist spending at the all-new Atlanta Sugar Factory, getting a sneak peek inside the space and, of course, a first taste of the goodies offered inside!
