Four people have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Acworth on Tuesday night.

About 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, two people told police they were robbed at gunpoint by three men after being invited by a woman to a party at an apartment complex. It happened at the Cherokee Summit apartments on Megan Court.

The suspects allegedly stole a cellphone, tennis shoes, wallet with cash, and ear-buds.

Deputies responded to the apartment complex and found one of the suspects described by the victims. They also identified the woman who invited the victims to the party.

Authorities said two men tried to get away through the porch, but went back in after spotting a deputy outside. Investigators said one of the men was wearing the stolen tennis shoes.

Once inside the unit, deputies found two loaded guns, a stolen wallet in the trash, as well as the other stolen items. They arrested the three males and the female.

The suspects have been identified as Dorien McElhney, Ajani Harris, Jayden Hickman, and Rachel Marek.

McElhney, 17, Harris, 19, and Hickman, 18, face a number of charges, including armed robbery, aggravated assault, and possession of marijuana. Marek, 19, has been charged with two counts of armed robbery.
