Armed robbery suspect on ATL's most wanted list arrested

ATLANTA - An armed robbery suspect on Atlanta's most wanted list has been taken into custody. 

On Friday, the FBI's Atlanta Field Office announced the arrest of Cedric Deon Cauley, 22, of Atlanta. He's been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a felony. 

Cauley is accused of robbing an Atlanta Technical College student at gunpoint on Metropolitan Parkway on Jan. 16, 2018 at around 9:45 a.m. 

Officials said the victim was going to enter a corner store when Cauley approached her with a black handgun. Cauley is accused of then taking the student's phone and book bag and running off. 

Cauley is being held at the Fulton County jail.
