After more than 50 years in operation, the Tara Theatre on Cheshire Bridge Road near Lindbergh Avenue will had its final showing.
ATLANTA - After more than 50 years in operation, the Tara Theatre is closing.
The art house cinema off of Cheshire Bridge Road near Lindbergh Avenue had its final showing on Thursday night.
Regal, which operates the theater, says the decision is part of the company's real estate optimization strategy.
Midtown Art Cinema and The Plaza Theatre are the two remaining art house theaters in the city.
