1 killed in shooting in SW Atlanta, police investigating

ATLANTA - Police say at least one person is dead after a shooting in southwest Atlanta early Thursday morning.

The shooting happened shortly before 1:45 a.m. at a home on the 3500 block of Boulder Park Drive. 

Police remained on the scene for many hours as they worked to determine what led up to the deadly violence.

At this time, details about the shooting remain scarce. Officers have not released the identity of the victim or any potential suspects.
