Cherokee County deputies searching for missing woman

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is asking for help finding a woman who was reported missing on Thursday night.

Deputies have been searching for Carrie Elizabeth Brown after her family reported her missing.

Investigators say Brown was last seen leaving the area of Hickory Flat Highway and Weathen Drive at around noon.

Brown was driving a black Honda Odyssey with the Georgia tag YAI192.

Officials described the missing woman as 5-feet-5-inches tall with a weight of around 135 pounds. She is reportedly known to frequent the Cartersville area.
