Crews investigating fire that destroyed Pickens County mobile home

PICKENS COUNTY, Ga. - Officials in Pickens County are investigating the cause of a fire at an abandoned mobile home on Monday.
The fire happened at around 5:17 p.m. at a home on Plum Lane, officials say.
When crews got to the scene, they found the mobile home covered with flames and partially collapsed.
The windy and cold weather helped firefighters quickly contain the blaze. Crews did not find anyone inside after searching the building.
The structure is a total loss, and officials say the fire is "suspicious in nature."
