DeKalb firefighters rescue puppy trapped in narrow sewer drain.
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A group of DeKalb County firefighters are being praised for saving a puppy over the weekend.
Officials say members of Engine 13, Heavy Rescue 24, and DeKalb Animal Control worked together to save little Jax.
Jax had fallen 10 feet down a narrow sewer drain and was stuck.
With a little determination, rope, and peanut butter, the crew were able to safely rescue the pup.
Officials say Jax is now doing fine after his scary situation.
