Viral Georgia Christmas light show draws thousands of visitors
DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. - A Christmas lights display in Georgia has lit up social media and brought thousands of people.
Christmas Lights at the Lovingoods in Douglasville features thousands of lights, handmade painted cutouts, an outdoor mini-theater that plays Christmas movies and specials, and more.
It's all the work of just two people - the titular Lovingoods.
On Friday, the couple broke their attendance record and then did it again on Saturday night with more than 2,000 people dropping by.
Dawn MacDonald Lovingood said they went through 325 bags of popcorn, 490 bags of cookies, and 650 cups of hot chocolate on Saturday alone.

"We have been doing it for 23 years, and this is just something we love to do. We know the community loves Christmas lights, and it just gives somebody an opportunity to come out and enjoy the lights and bring you back to your childhood because we got some old nostalgia stuff," Dawn MacDonald Lovingood told FOX 5.
