Escaped inmate recaptured

Henry County Police and Sheriffs are assisting Georgia State Department of Corrections and Spalding County in locating a prisoner that walked away from a work detail.

Officials say 21 year old Brandon Harris walked away from a detail in the area of Caraway Road and Leguin Mill Road in the Locust Grove area around 11:35 am Thursday.

Harris is described as being a 6’2” white male, 170 pounds, brown eyes, has a full beard and may be wearing white and blue pants.

Authorities are asking anyone that sees Harris to contact 911.
