Police searching for suspect in SW Atlanta gas station armed robbery

ATLANTA - Atlanta police are looking for a man accused of robbing a group of people at gunpoint at a gas station.
The robbery reportedly happened before 1:45 a.m. on Jan. 24 at the Shell gas station on the 2400 block of Metropolitan Parkway SW.
What we know:
The victims told police that they were walking to their vehicle parked at a gas pump when a man approached them.
The man pulled out a gun and demanded their belongings, police said. During the robbery, the man physically assaulted one of his victims before fleeing on foot.
The victims described the suspect as a Black man who was wearing a black face mask, black gloves, dark clothing, and gray or white tennis shoes.
What we don't know:
Investigators have not identified a suspect in connection with the case.
