Georgia Tech Athletics has officially raised $300 million in its fundraising initiative to enhance several athletic facilities on campus.

The Full Steam Ahead initiative is attempting to raise $500 million as part of the university's Transforming Tomorrow: The Campaign for Georgia Tech campaign.

The money would be spent on renovations to Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field, including replacing the current bleachers with chairback seats, elevated premium spaces, and video board and sound system upgrades.

The Zelnak Basketball Center would also get a revamp with a new men's basketball locker room and upgraded strength and conditioning and athletic training areas. Georgia Tech's women's basketball locker room was upgraded in 2020.

The O'Keefe Gym, home of Tech Volleyball, will also be upgraded with a widened concourse.

The initiative was launched in October 2024. Construction is set to begin on the first project in the spring of 2026.

You can learn more about the initiative on Georgia Tech's website.
