Gwinnett County home vandalized
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A Gwinnett County woman is concerned and disgusted after someone spray painted an obscene phrase on her driveway.
Susan, who did not want to use her last name, woke up to “F--- you” written on her driveway.
“I want people out here to know the pain of waking up to this in their driveway,” said Susan.
In addition to spray painting the offensive message, Susan said her mailbox was stolen. The 57-year-old said she has been harassed at her home in the past, but there has never been evidence to support her claims until now.
“I do not know why I am being bothered and why I am being targeted,” said Susan.
Susan said her experiences over the past three years have made her want to leave the place she had called home for 43 years, but financially she cannot.
On Monday an 89-year-old church member who got word of what had happened to Susan came to her house to help her remove the phrase with his pressure washer. Susan is a complete stranger, but the man said he wanted to help how he could.
Susan hopes police take her case seriously and find those responsible.
“In the midst of all of this pain, I try to find good in it and I think the good in it is it has made me appreciate each day,” said Susan.
