4 injured in overnight house fire in NW Atlanta

Four people have been injured after a fire broke out at a house in northwest Atlanta overnight.

The fire started shortly before 4 a.m. at the home on the 2800 block of Burton Road.

Crews arrived at the scene to find large flames and smoke pouring from the home. While firefighters were able to get the blaze under control, the home suffered extensive damage. FOX 5 cameras saw the home's windows had been blown out.

Officials say one person suffered burns and three others were treated for smoke inhalation. All four are expected to recover from their injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
