Man killed in fiery crash in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A man was killed in a fiery crash in DeKalb County early Thursday morning.

Police said the man was driving on Panthersville Road when he veered into oncoming traffic. He hit another car head-on and his car burst into flames.

Investigators told FOX 5 a Lyft driver and officers tried to pull the man from the wreckage, but the fire was too intense.

The man died at the scene.

The woman driving the other vehicle involved wasn't seriously hurt.
