15-year-old Alpharetta girl missing since Saturday, police say

Alpharetta police are asking the public for help finding a teenage girl who went missing over the weekend.

The Alpharetta Police Department is searching for 15-year-old Melody Williams.

What we know:

According to investigators, Williams was last seen around 8 p.m. on Saturday at a home on Ivywood Lane, which is located in the Manchester and Mansell apartment complex.

Police described Williams as 5-feet-3-inches tall with a weight of around 110 pounds. 

She was last known to be wearing a tan puffer coat, pants, and tan or brown furry winter boots.

What we don't know:

Authorities have not said whether they believe Williams is still in the Alpharetta area.
