Multiple Georgia school systems have announced delays due to the recent extreme drop in temperatures on Tuesday.

Wind chills dropped parts of metro Atlanta and north Georgia into the teens early Tuesday morning. The temperatures will remain below freezing with cold winds all day.

While other parts of the country are experiencing heavy snow, the FOX 5 Storm Team believes that the Peach State will see a mixture of snow, sleet, and freezing rain.
