Organization raising money for Georgia 911 dispatchers who lost homes in fires
PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. - Two 911 dispatchers in metro Atlanta need help after their homes burned down just days apart from each other.
On Dec. 16, Paulding County 911 dispatcher Keisha Archer's home went up in flames, causing extensive damage to the building.
Ten days later, a Cobb County dispatcher who lived in Paulding County lost her home and her pets in a fire.
Both fires remain under investigation.
The nonprofit Paulding Public Safety Appreciation Inc. set up two fundraisers to collect donations to help both dispatchers recover from the disasters.
You can donate to the Paulding County 911 dispatcher fundraiser here and the Cobb County 911 dispatcher fundraiser here.
All the funds raised will be given to the dispatchers and their families.
