Police: Man jumps through McDonald's drive-thru window, robs store
ATLANTA - Several McDonald's employees in northeast Atlanta came face-to-face with a gunman inside the restaurant early Tuesday morning.
It happened just before 4 a.m. on Cheshire Bridge Road.
According to police, an armed man jumped through the drive-thru window, then robbed the store. Police said the suspect pulled a gun on an employee and took money from the cash register before leaving through the door.
The suspect is described as being a tall, white male, roughly 6'2", and he was wearing a dark coat at the time of the robbery. Police also said his face was partially covered when he broke into the restaurant.
Investigators said about three or four employees were inside at the time of the robbery. No one was hurt.
