Police: man shot inside southwest Atlanta apartment complex

ATLANTA - Police said they are investigating a shooting at a southwest Atlanta apartment complex Thursday afternoon.

Atlanta Police said they were called out to the Villages at Castleberry Hill located in the 300 block of McDaniel Street after receiving a report of a person shot.

Officer said they found man shot to the face and leg. He was transported to the hospital alert, conscious, and breathing.

The victim’s name has not been released.

No word yet on a suspect.
