Suspect wanted for Rome murder arrested in Savannah
ROME, Ga. - A man wanted for murder in Floyd County was placed behind bars Thursday.
U.S. Marshals picked up Grady Harper in Savannah Thursday.
Police said Harper shot and killed 36-year-old John Allen, Jr. Saturday.
Allen was shot numerous times outside a house in Rome.
Harper was charged with felony murder and aggravated assault.
Floyd County deputies said they plan to book him in the Floyd County Jail by Friday.
