Deputies searching for leads in deadly Troup County cold case killing
TROUP COUNTY, Ga. - Troup County deputies are searching for new leads in the cold case killing of a man found shot to death in a car nearly four years ago.
On the afternoon of April 18, 2021, deputies were called to Briley Road just off of Stovall Road after receiving reports of an unresponsive man spotted in a vehicle.
When deputies got to the scene, they found the body of 52-year-old LaGrange resident Alan Dale Huguley.
Investigators said it appeared a gunman or gunmen shot into the vehicle, hitting Huguley several times.
In the years since the killing, officials say they have not been able to identify a suspect in the case and are now reaching out to the public for any information that may help them find a lead.
If you know anything that could help, call Troup County investigators at (706) 883-1616 or Crime Stoppers at (706) 812-1000.
