3 people wanted for robbery at Carroll County convenience store, police say

CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. - Deputies in Carroll County are asking for leads in connection with an armed robbery at a convenience store.

Officials say the robbery happened at J’s Shoppette on the 2000 block of Hayes Mill Road on Saturday night.

What we know:

According to investigators, three masked suspects dressed in black entered the store.

Two of the three pulled out guns and demanded money from the clerk. After taking the cash from the register, the trio fled from the store on foot.

Security footage captured a white SUV with tinted windows driving passed the store before the robbery. Officials have not said if they are sure that the SUV is connected with the crime.

What we don't know:

While investigators have received some tips, they are still working to follow leads and identify the suspects.
