Rumored new member of Five Stripes arrives in Atlanta

ATLANTA - Atlanta United supporters are proving themselves as dedicated fans -- and as able detectives. This was on full display

After reports started circulating that 31-year-old defensive midfielder Stéphane Mbia would be signing with the Five Stripes, internet sleuths noticed he posted a picture on social media where he was on an airplane.

FOX 5's camera was there as Mbia arrived at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. He may have been surprised by what was waiting at baggage claim: several Atlanta United fans, waiting to take selfies and ask for autographs.

Mbia declined comment about possibly signing with Atlanta United.
