Right now, it looks like the moisture will be long gone before freezing temperatures arrive next week.
A big shift in the upper-level winds will drive down sub-freezing temps early next week.
Prior to that, the zonal flow (west to east) will allow for mild to warm temps into the weekend.
Both long-range models latest runs point to wet weather this weekend, with the GFS spitting out a brief wintry mix over northwest Georgia on Monday morning.
The EURO keeps it all rain and ending much earlier Sunday night.
Sub-freezing temperatures are projected by both models by Tuesday morning, but as stated, no moisture to be found.
