'Fantastical' winter wonderland makes the holidays high-tech

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - If you like your holiday destinations with a heaping side of whimsy, a new “interactive wonderland” just might be the perfect place to get you and your family in the Christmas spirit.

Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken spent the morning exploring Santa’s Fantastical, a new indoor holiday attraction featuring a dozen high-tech “worlds” celebrating the season. Taking over the former Babies R Us at Perimeter Pointe shopping center, Santa’s Fantastical features themed areas including Tacky Yard, Peppermint Palace, Unicorn Dreams, and Santa’s Chateau — and yes, the Jolly Old Elf himself is available to meet with children inside! 

Each of the areas is designed specifically to make for great family or date-night photo ops, and guests are encouraged to post their pictures on social media using the hashtag #santasfantastical.    

Santa’s Fantastical is open daily through Christmas Eve, and is located at 1155 Mt. Vernon Hwy. Suite 300, in the Perimeter Pointe shopping center.  Regular admission is $34 for adults, $26 for children ages three to 12, and free for kids under three years old.
