Atlanta honors church

ATLANTA - The Atlanta City Council recognized the World Mission Society Church of God Monday.

The church received the proclamation at City Hall. 

City officials say they honored the church for its volunteer work in southwest Atlanta.

Members conducted three cleanups since partnering with Councilmember Andrea Boone last year.

Organizers have another clean-up scheduled next month.
