Church desecrated by vandals in McDonough

MCDONOUGH, Ga. - Vandals desecrate a McDonough church spray-painting satanic symbols across the sanctuary walls.

Church members made the discovery Monday night when they arrived for a meeting at Seed Planters Church on Highway 81.

According to police, the vandals pried open a rear door to get inside and ransack the church's sanctuary.

They also drew symbols such as a demon's head and the number “6-6-6” on many of the walls.

The senior pastor said the damage was shocking, but he would still welcome the vandals into his church.

Pastor Long said the damage has also caused a setback in their preparations for Easter Sunday, but he said the church still plans to move forward with their Easter service.
