Appiah, a devoted Falcons fan, collapsed after a game and was diagnosed with a brain bleed. As he works toward recovery, Mughelli has encouraged the community to rally around the teen and his family by contributing to their GoFundMe campaign, which has already raised more than $20,000.

During his visit at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center, Mughelli lifted the teen’s spirits by promising to take him and his mother to their first Falcons game once he is healthy enough to attend.

The family remains hopeful and grateful for the outpouring of support from the community.
