Former Henry Co. Commissioner faces more molestation charges
HENRY COUNTY, Ga. - A former Henry County Commissioner has been arrested for a second time on allegations of child molestation.
Gary Michael Freedman, 72, faces two charges of aggravated child molestation and a charge of sexual battery involving a child under the age of 16. His accuser reportedly told police Freedman molested him in 2007.
Just over a year ago, Freedman was arrested on similar charges. In that case, the accusers were two girls who said Freedman molested them in 2006.
Freedman served eight years on the Henry County Commission before launching an unsuccessful bid for Chairman in 2004.
He's being held without bail in the Henry County Jail. He is scheduled for a court appearance on September 13.
