Spotify Wrapped 2024: When can users expect their end-of-year recap?

Each year, Spotify releases a personalized report to each user called Spotify Wrapped – featuring an interactive overview of their listening habits for the past year.

The annual campaign reveals the user’s top artists, songs, albums and podcasts. Once it’s released, screengrabs of Spotify Wrapped soon pop up all over social media, with listeners eager to share their own unique listening habits.

Here’s what to know, including when Spotify Wrapped 2024 will be released:

What is Spotify Wrapped?

Spotify Wrapped is a personalized look at the user’s past year in streams. Listeners love it because they learn the artist and songs they listened to the most that year, as well as perhaps the embarrassing number of times they had their favorite song on repeat, and other musical or podcast tidbits.

Spotify presents the results in catchy graphics that are easily shareable to other social media platforms.

Spotify also releases at this time its top-streamed artists and songs across the board.

When is Spotify Wrapped 2024?

Listeners have long obsessed over figuring out when the streaming window closes, as Spotify needs time to analyze and present the results. Some spend the last minutes squeezing in their favorite songs and artists to try and tip their results.

Although Spotify said it doesn’t stop counting streams on Halloween as previously suspected, it also hasn’t clarified when the window closes either.

Spotify Wrapped has dropped on a different day nearly every year, so it’s unclear when the report will be made available in 2024.

However, release dates in previous years present a possible timeframe:

  • Nov. 29 (2023)
  • Nov. 30 (2022)
  • Dec. 1 (2021, 2020)
  • Dec. 5 (2019)
  • Dec. 6 (2018)

In the meantime, "Keep playing what you love, and we’ll get in touch when it’s ready," Spotify says.
