Police: Man arrested in stabbing death

A Conyers man stabbed in the middle of the road Wednesday after arguing with another man has died, police said.

It happened on Hunting Creek Lane. Conyers Police said the man, later identified as 55-year-old Kent Clark, was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital where he later died.

Officers said the medics did not realize the man had been stabbed until they started performing CPR. 

Captain Jackie Dunn, with the Conyers Police Department, said officers are looking for a small weapon that is thought to have been used in the stabbing.

Police said 49-year-old Herman Adams was arrested booked into the Rockdale County Jail on murder charges. Other charges are pending.
