Police: Woman who shot man in groin on the run
ATLANTA - The Atlanta Police need your help to find a woman on the run after allegedly shooting a man in the groin.
Police say that they were called to the 380 block of Glen Iris Drive at 6:30 on the morning on Feb.28.
When they got to the scene, they found a male victim with an "apparent gunshot wound to the groin."
Medics transported the man to Grady Hospital, where he recovered.
Police say the victim told them that he had an argument with 23-year-old Latifa Freeman inside a vehicle. When he asked her to leave, she shot him and then fled, police said.
Officers are now asking anyone who recognizes Freeman to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 404-577-8477 A reward of up to $2,000 is available for the arrest and indictment of Freeman.
