Rockdale County school reopens after stomach bug

ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. - Shoal Creek Elementary School in Rockdale County is back open Tuesday morning. 

School leaders decided to keep the school closed Monday after several students and staff members showed symptoms of the norovirus. 

Administrators told FOX 5 the building underwent a deep-cleaning over the weekend.

Parents are being encouraged to keep their children home if they are still not feeling well on Tuesday.
