Snellville police motorcycle officer injured in crash

SNELLVILLE, Ga. - A Snellville police motorcycle officer was recovering Tuesday evening after getting into an accident with a car.

It happened at Highway 124 and Oak Road a little before 4:30 p.m. Snellville police said the officer was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No word on the driver of the car.

The names have not been released.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
