Water main break fixed along Glenwood Road in DeKalb County

Crews have been working on a water main break that flooded part of Glenwood Road in DeKalb County on Oct. 31, 2023.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Part of Glenwood Road near Interstate 285 in DeKalb County was closed because of a water main break.

FOX 5 flew over the scene shortly before 6 p.m. as crews worked to repair the break. Water officials say the main was fixed by 7 p.m.

The break closed down the 4500 block of Glenwood Road all day.

This is not part of the Interstate 285 Eastside Bridge Replacement Project, GDOT officials say.

Drivers should seek alternate routes.
