Atlanta police officer surprises 12-year-old with PS5 for Christmas
ATLANTA - An Atlanta police officer made a boy's Christmas wish come true this week.
The Atlanta Police Department say Officer Sebastian Kertchaval surprised 12-year-old Amir with a new PlayStation 5.
According to officials, Kertchaval met Amir this summer when responding to a 911 call about an "unruly child."
While the situation was tense when he arrived, officials say Kertchaval helped deescalate things and connected with the boy.
Since that first interaction, Amir's grandmother has been keeping the officer updated about his good behavior, and officials say Kertchaval wanted to reward him for his positive progress.
Amir also got to sit behind the wheel of the officer's police car.
